"Not everyone's as sentimental as you are (about it)", the teacher, at the art class, said yesterday. I was telling her that, on the way to the coffee machine, in Hazelhurst I crossed paths with a very familiar school uniform, with a boy in it, who gave me a blank look. *Of course*! It's July 28, 2008. On July 28, 1917, in Gouda, The Netherlands, Jacoba Postma, my mother, was born. The fourth of nine children, to the bridge- (and lock-) -keeper, Jan Postma and Betty Schoonens.
